Trainee at Oshaug Metall!

The 15th of August Eirik Belland started in a two-year trainee program which includes three different companies in Molde. Eirik has a Master Degree in materials science from NTNU, and the first trainee company is Oshaug Metall. In respectively 8 and 16 months he will join National Oilwell Varco and Axess.

After five years of studying, Eirik is looking forward to begin his working career. He wanted to work in a small manufacturing company, and chose Oshaug Metall due to a reputation of high product quality. The company's field of business is very relevant to Eirik. He has had several courses in casting technology, and he also has experience from summer internships at Rec Glomfjord.

Eric has started the period in Oshaug Metall with two weeks in the production facility. He describes his first days as very informative and exciting. In the following months he will contribute with his material science expertise in several projects in the company.
